The Raytown High School Theatre Department will present Leading Ladies. The show will run February 23 through February 25 at 7 p.m. in the Raytown High School Auditorium located at 6019 Blue Ridge Blvd.

Leading Ladies is a wild comedy about two down-on-their luck, broke Shakespearean actors, Leo and Jack who decide to scam Florence, a dying wealthy woman, by pretending to be her nephews, Max and Steve. Leo and Jack encounter a problem when they find out “Max” and “Steve” are the nicknames of Florence’s nieces Maxine and Stephanie. Desperate for money, Leo and Jack continue their plot by going undercover as the nieces of Florence.

The principal cast includes Cameron Geeding as Leo Clark/Maxine, Doyne Dodd as Jack Gable/Stephanie, Fred Farrand as the Reverend Duncan Wooley, Emma Drace as Meg, Grace Givens as Audrey, Iliana Miller as Florence, Kaleb Clemmons as Doc, and Darian Duah as Butch. Other cast members include Nathan Holloway, Jordan Meyer, and Brandon Rudroff.

The crew is led by Zach Thonen as technical director. Stage management includes Carly Cobden and Melanie Newton. Assistant direction by Romeo Bagunu and Abbie Braly, with choreography by Karlee Etter.

Tickets can be purchased online by going to www.showtix4u.com and searching “Raytown” or at the door. Tickets are $5 for students, $7 for adult tickets in advance or $8 at the door. Questions should be directed to kathleen.kolster@raytownschools.org.
