Raytown High School’s Departments of Theatre and Music will present The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. The show will run November 17-19 at 7:00 p.m. in the Raytown High School Auditorium located at 6019 Blue Ridge Blvd.

Adopted from a book by Rachel Sheinkin, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a one-act musical comedy conceived by Rebecca Feldman with music and lyrics by William Finn. The show centers on a fictional spelling bee taking place at Putnam Valley Middle School in Putnam Valley, New York.  Uniquely and amusingly, this show incorporates four unsuspecting audience members each performance to play guest spellers.
